Summer is here, and the hot weather is prompting me to look for cool and refreshing recipes. So I went to my ragged manila file-folder for some ideas.
This is the recipe I pulled out. This is basic and simple recipe that we used as a kid when our garden had provided us with more cucumbers then we could eat. They found there way into many a dish. We would add them to a green salad or make homemade pickles. What ever the form or use I always loved the crisp cool taste of a fresh cucumber.
