• Sounds delicious! I don’t cook, but I will pass on to my husband. 🙂

    • I am the gardener and my husband is the main cook. I cook when he is at work or traveling. This one of the recipes I like to make becuase it so easy. 🙂

    Ohhhhhhhh looks nice

    • It is, and it couldn’t be easier. Give it a try. 🙂

  • Sounds delicious Susan!! On top of it I love thyme and all the ingredients in it are healty.

    • The fresh thyme makes all the difference. Enjoy. 🙂

I read this recipe and made it today. It was so good!!!! Loved it. Thanks for posting it. 🙂

    • It is good huh! I am so glad you liked it. 🙂

  • Adrienne Jones

That is unbelievably simple. I’m going to have to try this with the chicken I’ve got in the freezer.

I love finding new recipes. Do you ever find that you have more recipes on hand than you could ever possibly make? It’s so tempting to just collect all of them!

    • It is so easy and so very good.

Yes I do, there are so many recipes but so little time … but I seem to amass a great deal anyway. :)))

  • I am making this tonight for dinner – Yum

    • I think you will love it. Let me know how it goes. 🙂

      • It was delicious. We served with Tomato and Mozzarella salad and corn on the cob, our favorite summer foods.  My daughter made chocolate covered strawberries for dessert.

        • Awesome. I knew you would love it. That sounds like an amazing menu, especially the chocolate covered strawberries. :)))

  • Shirla Vergara

Susan I love trying new recipes!  To not try this one, in all of it’s simplicity, would be a sin!  will let you know.

    • This is worth a try. It is really fun to make and OH so good to eat. 🙂

  • Jacqueline Gum

This loks almost too easy! Which means I have to try it!

    • It is incredibly easy and just as delicious Jacqueline. Enjoy. 🙂

  • This sounds so delicious!

  • Catarina Alexon

Perfect timing Susan. Am just about to make supper – with garlic in it.

    • That is so cool Catarina. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. 🙂

  • Jon Jefferson

Nice simple recipe. I love the amount of garlic in this.

    • I love simple recipes of all types Jon. I also love garlic. the more the better… LOL.

  • I was one of the privileged bloggers to enjoy this meal. Thanks to Susan for keeping us well fed and watered. Susan, did you receive the pic I sent to you of you preparing this meal?

    • It was my pleasure Doreen. It was fun having you and everyone else share my home and recipes. Yes I did, thank you. 🙂

  • Jeri Walker-Bickett

This is one I think I’ll pass onto hubby to see if he wants to give it a try. I’ll be curious how the garlic comes across. I love garlic a lot, but years ago in San Francisco I ate a chicken dish at The Stinking Rose that incorporated 40 garlic cloves. That in addition to the garlic spread served with the bread equaled quite the lovely smell which emanated from me the next day. I never knew eating so much garlic in one setting could actually cause physical pain… though I doubt your lovely dish will have such dire effects 🙂

    • It is surprising how the garlic enhances the dish without overwhelming it Jeri. Garlic is an awesome ingredient but there is a point where to much is to much. 🙂

  • Cheryl Therrien

    This was truly delicious! 🙂

    • Thanks so much Cheryl. You would know since you were there to enjoy it. 🙂

  • My daughter loves chicken and potatoes. I love anything with garlic. Hm, maybe. Thanks for sharing.

    • Then I think you must try this dish Leora. It sounds like it would be a winner all around. 🙂

  • Glynis Jolly

20 garlic cloves!? That’s an awful lot. Nevertheless, it looks delicious and I love oven meals so I copied it. 🙂

    • It sounds like allot, but it really works and it taste really good Glynis. I too am a big fan of casseroles or oven dishes. 🙂

  • Now I know what we’re having for dinner tomorrow Susan! As for 20 cloves of garlic, I’m a strong believer that there is no such thing as too much garlic. 🙂

    • Woo Hoo, have fun with this recipe and let me know how it turned out Sherryl. We love it in our home. 🙂

  • This is my kind of recipe to prepare. I love it when you can cook all in one pot or dish and agree with the other about garlic.

    • Me too Susan, It simplifies the whole thing and gives you time to enjoy your visitors. 🙂

  • Debra Yearwood

This looks so good. I just bought some chicken breasts today and have potatoes…think I’ll try this out and let you know how it works. If they (my family) are very, very, lucky, I might get around to making those butter acorn treats too. 🙂

    • It is a favorite in our home Debra. The flavor is the main reason and then there is the ease of making it. It is darn yummy. 🙂

      • Debra Yearwood

Tried the recipe and loved it Susan! Thanks for another good recipe. I posted a picture of it on Google+

        • Yeah!!! I am so glad you enjoyed it. I love the ease of it as well, don’t you? 🙂

  • HomeJobsbyMOM

This looks like it could be a thanksgiving dinner for those that don’t like or want to cook turkey. Yummy!

    • It really could, and it is amazing good Krystle. You could substitute some of the potatoes for Brussels sprout and carrots too, to making even more festive. 🙂
