Twisted Roots Winery Old Vine Zinfandel was a fun find. My friend and I had just recently ventured back to Lodi for their Farmer Market & Street Fair. We had dinner at a place recommended by a local, and it was as fun as they said it would be. Of course, we had to have […]
During the holidays, I’m often treated to some fantastic wines. One of those wines was 1000 Stories Wines Zinfandel. It was a gift from my brother who was very excited to have me taste it. What can I say… WOW… if you’re a Zinfandel lover, it’s nothing short of amazing. So what is their story? 1000 […]

He is known for his brash style, proof that more than one type of person can succeed in the winemaking business…

We were just out for a quick bite at one of our favorite restaurants when I finally tried a zinfandel from Fiddletown Cellars. It was truly love at first sip. Oh, and I do love their label.
Not everyone is a fan of a full-bodied wine such as this Renwood Old Vine Zinfandel. However, in certain circumstances a wine such as this is needed to stand up to a hearty entrée without the wine being overwhelmed. In that situation, this is a wine you must try, especially if you enjoy a good […]
