La Crema Chardonnay: #Wine

by Susan P. Cooper · on Apr 26, 2015 · 26

I was just in the Sonoma and Napa Valley wine regions and had passed by La Creme Winery. I smiled and thought how La Crema Chardonnay is one of my go-to white wines when I can’t decide what I want to have with a light luncheon or to share with family and friends.

Simply put, La Crema is one of my favorite vineyards and wines. La Crema is a family owned winery, establish in 1979, producing wine for over 30 years in the Sonoma and Mendocino wine regions. These areas are considered to be one of the finest wine-growing regions anywhere in the world for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. La Crema vintners pride themselves on the fact that they create their fabulous wine, one barrel at a time, offering an excellent balance of flavors and fruit intensity in each bottle. They are true artisans in the wine making process.

Healdsburg is in the California Sonoma Wine Country, ideally located where the Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley and Dry Creek Valley wine-growing regions meet. It’s surrounded by gently rolling hills and vineyards. It is an enchanting village that will win your heart when you first arrive. It is a down to earth place that offers relaxed sophistication with charming Bed & Breakfasts, electric shopping, and a fantastic variety of cuisines. All while tasting some the best wines the area has to offer. It’s a place that entices you to relax and stay aLa Crema Chardonnay, findingourwaynow.comwhile.

This is what the winemaker has to say about their La Crema Chardonnay:

“This vintage opens with bright aromas of Meyer lemon and yellow apple, punctuated by hints of butterscotch and subtle floral notes. The palate adds flavors of juicy yellow plum, lemon curd, and vanilla custard. Rich tropical tones and a lingering spice add richness and texture to the long, fresh finish.”

You can find La Crema Chardonnay Sonoma Coast on their website, bevmo.com, wine.com, totalwine.com, amazon.com, World Market/CostPlus, Whole Foods and most any wine outlet, just ask your local wine buyer.

I enjoy La Crema Chardonnay because it’s an excellent wine that’s fun to drink. No special occasion needed. It would go well with my Roasted Chicken Breast with Garlic & Redskin Potatoes, or my Bakes Brie With Honey. It is especially nice with a good selection of cheeses.

Time for a glass…
