The Sacramento River Cats Double AA baseball games are a summertime tradition in Sacramento. I was blessed to have been a guest of Smile Generation at one of their games this past Friday. They generously provided the tickets, a t-shirt and a $25 gift card for incidentals while at the game. Be assured any opinions I share about my experience at the game are entirely my own.
Fun At The Sacramento River Cats
“Take Me Out To The Ball Game”
I love going to the Sacramento River Cats because it’s all about family and fun. Baseball is truly an all American sport. When we think of going to a baseball game we think hotdogs, beer, peanuts, fun and laughter. We can’t forget the song that brings back so many memories: “Take Me Out To The Ball Game”. So my friends and I piled in to my car to head out to the Sacramento River Cats for a fun filled evening. We had a blast.
To share our fun evening at the Sacramento River Cats game, I’m posting a pictorial of our evening.
We arrived early to allow time get a bit to eat. Isn’t it funny how the hotdogs and polish sausages always taste better at a baseball game?
We had great seats. Just left of the first base 6 rows up from the dugout.
Once we found our seats, off we went for our hotdogs and all manner of ballpark food… Yum.
I saw these guys and couldn’t help but take a picture. They so capture the love of baseball and the Sacramento River Cats.
While we were collecting our good eats, I ran into my friends at Smile Generation. How cool was that. 🙂
By the time we got back to our seats, the stadium had stared to fill up.
The food was great. It was a beautiful evening so before the game started I took my camera and took some shots of some of the sights.
And then the Sacramento River Cats game was getting underway.
Batter up.
Let’s play ball. Go Sacramento River Cats.
It was a fun game, and of course we had to get another hot dog or two… LOL.
There were all kinds of fun things that were happening throughout the game that added to the whole experience. These are just a few of the experiences I was able to capture on camera.
Even thought the Sacramento River Cats lost, we still had a great time.
As we left the stadium, my thoughts were how I wanted to thank Smile Generation for their generosity. We had great seats and an awesome time. It is a venue I very much enjoy and I look forward to another fun evening at the Sacramento River Cats very soon.
