I’m on a roll with jam, marmalade, and making preserves. The fact that my Homemade Berry Jam is the simplest thing ever is a good reason to love this recipe. All I can say is once you’ve tasted your own, you’ll be hard pressed to buy it at the grocery store again. My very first experience […]
Not terribly long ago I commented on a picture of some chocolate dipped spoons and noted how easy they were to make. Their reply was enthusiastic, asking if I would create a recipe and write about it. How could I not make them after that? These are the easiest things to make. Seriously, I mean it. The […]
I love this Fresh Mushroom Salad recipe. The fact is I love mushrooms in just about any form. It’s also an especially nice salad on a hot summer day. A few years back, while we were on a trip to France, we were served a fresh mushroom salad that I fell in love with. I ask for the recipe and how […]

Breakfast is one of my favorite meals. My biggest challenge when making it is the time it takes to do it right when I have a very busy day ahead. I know it isn’t a good excuse, but it still represents a challenge for me. However, when it comes to the weekend, we love to […]
I love olives in just about any form, and these garlic olives couldn’t be simpler. Even though I’ve posted this before, I thought it would be fun to showcase this recipe again. It always happens like this, we are expecting a great deal of company at different points in time. When this happens, I like to make as […]
