    • Hi Jody, Thank you. It’s not hard. Check out my “How To Draw On My IPad” posts. 🙂

Thank you, I definitely will! 🙂 I just got illustrator; but I have no idea how to use it, haha! : )

Hi Susan, I have not been in touch for a while but delighted to read your blog. Janet and I have some very special memories of Ireland – honeymoon in Dublin and fifty years later back there to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary last year! I am thinking of writing a short blog featuring Irish music because of you! 🙂

    • Well, hello there Jon, It’s so nice to see you, It has been a while for sure. What great memories you guys much have all around. I do look forward to your sharing. ?

  • Thanks for the lovely message Susan. I went to a convent school from 11-16, and there we had a hockey game against the teachers – nuns included on St Patrick’s day. It seemed to be more of a competition on which nun had the biggest spray of shamrock i.e. the most irish. Sister Joseph always won hands down with a giant bush of a thing pinned to her habit!!

    • That is a really fun story Kathy. I could just picture that must have been a site and great fun to boot. Have a great day my friend. ?

  • Lovely Susan. And the drawings are some of you best work. Thanks so much for sharing these with us.

    • Thanks so much Patricia. Your kind words warmed my heart. May you have an awesome St Patty’s Day. ?

  • Happy St. Patrick’s Day! All of the images are outstanding, but final one is absolutely stunning. Great work my friend 🙂

    • Thanks you Jeri. It/they was created a very long time ago so it seemed fitting to showcase today. ?

  • Jacqueline Gum

The drawings are so very special Susan and a perfect accompaniment to the Irish blessing. I love all things Irish, but not necessarily on St Pat’s Day! LOL

    • Aw, you really know how to make me smile Jacquie. Me too. I have an adult beverage recipe I’d wanted to post, but alas time did not allow for it. So don’t be surprised if it shows up soon. ?

  • Oh so nice

  • Susan — in New York we have one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day parades anywhere in the world, maybe even bigger than in Ireland. Just don’t go near the bars after it’s over! In New York we’re all Irish on St. Patty’s Day.

    • I have heard that Jeannette. It would a fun thing to see. Re the bars, I think it’s the same in most large cities on St Patrick’s Day. Here to a great one, wherever you spent your time. ?

I love the poem Susan!! Sadly, I forgot to wear green. My phone has green on it though so I hope that counts 🙂

    • Me too! It says so much in such a gentle way. LOL, a green phone will do just time Krystal. ?

  • Jon Jefferson

We had some great lamb stew and Irish soda bread from a really good BBQ place this year. Oh the fun of being lost in Virginia…

    • Aw, there is nothing quite like a good lamb stew Jon. It sounds like you’re having a great time. ?

  • Pat Ruppel

Aw, thank you for this Irish blessing, Susan. I’m sorry I didn’t get it on St. Patrick’s day (been off the grid for a few days). This is nice — lovely, my friend.

If I may, here’s another one back at you. I hope you had a blessed day.

    • You so welcome my friend. And Thank you Pat. May the Road rise to me you all your days. Hugs. ?

  • Debra Yearwood

Awesome poem! I made and ate Irish stew and watched my husband drink green beer on St. Patrick’s Day. I also organized a hunt with a pot of gold (foil wrapped chocolates) as the prize in my office. I may not be Irish but who could resist having some fun on St. Pattty’s Day?

    • Thanks so much Debra. Yum, can I come over sometime? ?. How fun that must have been for everyone at work. Big Hug. ?
