It has been quite a year, and I have been very lucky to come across some of the most amazing bloggers, all of which have award winning blog in my mind. They have given me such generous support and help over the year; words can ‘t express how grateful I am. Many have deemed me worthy of some awesome awards.
I’ve received many awards that have humbled and pleased me greatly over the past year. Some of these awards were given to me a while back, some more recently. I have been remiss in posting the awards I’ve received. I have no excuse. I’m just now getting around to posting my thank-you’s to everyone and to pay it forward to all my generous blogger friends. To me, each and every one of these bloggers have an award winning blog. To make this as easy as possible, I’ll post the bloggers link, tell you a little about each blogger and the award image or images that were given.
Claire at Claire Cappetta, A Journey of Writing & Publishing is such a gifted writer who has just published her book about abuse and learning to rise above it called “Broken Ring“. You must check it out. She gave me the Daisy Award AND the Gragie Award. I consider her a great friend and one of my best cheerleaders.
Devon at Minding The Minis is the best and the one who gave me the Readership Appreciation Award. Devon writes about the Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary in Norton, Montana. Devon warms my heart with the many posts about the animals and their personalities. Take a moment to check out Devon’s adventures.
Aw, now there’s Mary from Along Came Mary who gave me the Blog Of The Year Award. The cool thing about this award is you can receive it up to six times. Each time you get it, you can add a star to the button. Isn’t that cool! She is such fun. I even had an opportunity to meet up with her in San Francisco. What a treat that was for me. She loves museums and the arts and writes about all the cool things she does in the L.A. Area.
Then there’s Jeri, a great friend and now my extraordinary editor from What Do I Know? Jeri is all about books, authors and writing. I am so proud to call her my friend. You must check out her many awesome book recommendations, author reviews and her newly published book of short stories called “Such Is Life”
The last one is the R.E.A.L.I.Y. Blog Award from Jo-Anne at Jo-Anne’s Ramblings. She is an amazingly generous blogger and has always been there to support whatever I do. She is probably one of the busiest persons I know. Her life is very full with her family and grandchildren. What can I say; she is the best ever.
All of these bloggers have been on a journey, unique in their own right. All have had their share of ups and downs. All have been stalwart in their support of others. So, this is my applause to them for hanging in there and being such an inspiration to all of us who are working hard to create a winning blog.
Now here is my Award to you for all that you have done and continue to do in this blogosphere. I call it the ‘The Best Blog Supporter Award’. It kind-of says it all.
So, what’s next? Most of the rules state pretty much the same thing. I am to tell you something about myself, things you may not know about me. Then there’s the hard part, nominating other bloggers who are deserving of each of these awards. To cut to the chase, here some things you may not know about me.
- I sold chemicals to underground mines and yes I did go down into these mines.
- I don’t like raw onions.
- I love color, any kind of color really.
- My favorite flower is a Chrysanthemum (actually I love all flowers)
- I am an obsessive-compulsive chocolate lover… LOL
- I love to read on my patio with my cat.
- I have a small box fetish.
- I long to go to Australia.
- I have never been on a cruise.
- I am working on my second eBook.
Now we move on to the nominees for all of these awards. Drum roll, please. Hum… Sigh… BIGGER SIGH!… LONG PAUSE!… I CAN’T make up my mind!… It seems so unfair to nominate only a few when there are so many deserving bloggers out there. OK… So here is what I’m going to do. These awards will go to all my loyal commenters; you know who you are. If you choose to accept them (and I hope you do), you know what to do. 🙂
